Mini Chess

Designed for the chess player on the go. This beautifully crafted, small travel chess set is all you need to keep your game going no matter where you are.

Gameplay:
The aim of the game is to checkmate the king of the opponent. 'Checkmate' occurs when the king cannot move in any direction without being captured. If your chess piece lands on a square with an opponent piece, you 'capture' the opponent's piece & remove it from the board.

KING moves just one square horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
QUEEN moves any number of squares horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
BISHOP moves any number of vacant squares in any diagonal direction.
KNIGHT moves in an 'L' shape - either 2 squares horizontally then 1 square vertically.
ROOK can move any number of vacant squares horizontally or vertically.
PAWN moves forward 1 square, or optionally 2 squares on its 1st move if empty.
